Hi,

Walshy (Andrew Walsh of CarLimits.com) has the option to use a new airfield in Venlo, Limburg, Netherlands. We've already got a bit of feedback, but widening the poll to get an idea on the number of days we would want to run there if we go ahead.

So, would you be interested in a driver training course in Venlo? The airfield is very flat and has just been surfaced. Format of course similar to CarLimits North Weald Driver Training Days in UK - all training bespoke to your needs, increasing your car control in your vehicle or hire one of ours, e.g during the day you may; experience understeer and oversteer and learn how to correct them, improve your steering, learn balanced and trailing throttle, left foot braking, heel and toe and even how to control the rotation of your car and even get it back inline from 90 degrees!

Any idea about the price of the package, how much personal coaching, levels, etc...?

My car already has a geo setup designed by Andy Walsh, so this can't go wrong. NOT.

I'm looking for a training like this somewhat close to home for some time now. So yes, I would be interested.

Currently the venue price is expensive, but we're hoping to negotiate - but before we do, we need to know what the interest would be so that we can say how many days we'd do to aid our negotiations! A bit of a 'catch 22' at the moment!

Will let you know more when we know more on price.

Regarding personal coaching, I imagine it will work like North Weald - there are 4 people on the day and Andrew splits his time in the car with each person, however when they are practising on the high speed bend (which is about half the day) he gives them feedback after every run (though sometimes you'll realise what you've done and feedback isn't necessary).

The level of your driving doesn't matter - on the days at North Weald we have novices in their first rear wheel drive car doing days with racing drivers who finish on the podium and are back to practise and learn new techniques. Whatever level, Andrew will be able to teach you.

Andrew can teach you in your car if it's Rear Wheel Drive, Front Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive, just not high sided vehicles such as Land Rover Discoverys and Transit vans as they don't do high speed cornering very well!

RWD, FWD, Four Wheel Drive they all have their pro's and contra's.
