Kovalainen to race for Lotus in USA and Brazil

Caterham F1 Team Reserve Driver Heikki Kovalainen will race for Lotus F1 Team at the US and Brazilian Grands Prix.

An agreement was reached between all parties to release Heikki from his Caterham F1 Team commitments to allow him to replace Kimi Raikkonen in Austin and Interlagos.

Cyril Abiteboul, Team Principal, Caterham F1 Team: "We were asked by Lotus F1 Team if we could release Heikki from his contract with us for the final two races of 2013 and weare pleased that we can help to give him the chance to race again in 2013.

"He is a valued member of the Caterham family and we're sure he'll do a good job in the US and Brazil."
