Lotus will have its most substantial presence ever during the upcoming Pebble Beach week of activities August 7 – 15 showcasing:
The World Premier of the Lotus 125 ultimate consumer track and race car
The North American Premier of the Evora Cup GT4 track and race car
The North American Debut of the restyled 2011 Elise SC RGB Edition.

World Premier of all-new Lotus 125 ultimate consumer track and race car
The Lotus 125 will initially be shown in the Lotus Exhibit during the Monterey Motorsports Pre-Reunion weekend Saturday and Sunday, August 7 – 8 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. On Wednesday night, August 11, the Lotus 125 will be displayed at the McCall Motorworks Revival at the Monterey Jet Center along with our current Lotus IndyCar. Lotus IndyCar and former Formula 1TM driver Takuma Sato and 1996 IndyCar champion Jimmy Vasser will also be on hand at the Lotus display. Finally, the Lotus 125 will grace the Concept Car Lawn at The Lodge at Pebble Beach on Saturday afternoon, August 14 and all day Sunday, August 15 during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Details of the Lotus 125 will be held for its reveals on the Monterey peninsula and Pebble Beach, suffice to say the Lotus 125 is being engineered and developed to provide its select few owners the absolute ultimate in a track driving and racing experience.
Tja ik zie ook niet direct wie er op zit te wachten, maar het feit dat ze hier een cosworth in duwen, zou wel eens kunnen duiden dat het geen Renault zal worden voor volgend jaar.
Er gaan ook verschillende marktstudies over deze auto gedaan zijn zeker? Er zal wel "ergens" een gat in die markt zijn? Ik denk dan aan de FXX eigenaar die nu ipv een auto die op een auto voor de weg lijkt, nu een F1 look-a-like, met een hoge user friendly dosis krijgt, voor hetzelfde geld???
Misschien nog geen slecht gedacht dan?

*The exosphere is the uppermost layer of the atmosphere. In the exosphere, an upward travelling molecule can escape to space if it is moving fast enough to attain escape velocity; otherwise it will be pulled back to the celestial body by gravity. In either case, such a molecule is unlikely to collide with another molecule due to the exosphere's low density.
Lotus plans to make just 25 Exos next year and will be pricing then at one million dollars apiece. Apart from the car itself, the Exos program will also include 5 “driver events” at various race tracks that will allow the owners to slowly come up to speed with the performance of their new car by getting instruction and advice from a variety of current and past Lotus drivers (a little birdy tells us that Mika Häkkinen and Jarno Trulli will be involved).
