2000 S1 Lotus Elise Sport 160 - Titanium - Totally original, 2 previous owners, 46.000 miles.

W reg
First registered 06/06/2000
46.000 miles
2 previous owners
Full service History
MOT until 30/05/2017
Titanium silver with black roof
Black and red alcantara interior

The car was purchased brand new in 2000 at Kinsey Jones Lotus (£29,870, with original bill of sale included) and in 2005, he sold the car to his brother, at which point the car had circa 15,000 miles. The car was in his ownership for the next 10+ years, until the car reached 43,000 miles. The V5 shows 1 previous owner (so 2 owners in total, the two brothers).

The car is entirely original WVTA Sport 160. The car has never had any paintwork carried out, has never had the suspension changed, has never had a different exhaust or any sort of performance upgrades at all. The only thing this car actually has on it that is not the original fit item are tyres and brake pads.

The history of the car is as follows (big file of paperwork with the car including receipts, documents etc)

MOT certificates present:
2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006

Service History:
1,200 miles, 01/09/2000 - Aftersales/Run in service
4,714 miles, 02/07/2001 - A service
8,477 miles, 19/06/2002 - B service
12,191 miles, 11/05/2004 - A service
15,445 miles, 11/05/2005 - C service, the big one with the belts etc
24,435 miles, 29/10/2007 - A service
34,484 miles, 16/09/2010 - Unknown, assume B
39,049 miles, 28/02/2013 - C service
44,062 miles, 24/06/2016 - C service again, carried out at Phoenix Motorsports

The condition of the car is impressive for a 17 year old car. As mentioned it has never had any paintwork at all carried out, which is paramount for me when I buy a car, as this confirms no accident damage etc. The front end of the car has stone chips as you would expect and a slight scuff on the underside of the front corner, presumably from a steep incline. There is absolutely no fibreglass damage to any of the bodywork in any way. The wheels are original, never refurbished or touched up, and again as a result a couple have small marks on them but even I didn’t want to have these attended to, albeit not a big fix at all. To be cosmetically perfect the car would benefit from the front clam being repainted and the wheels refurbished but I love the originality and the stone chips prove that. The interior is in great shape, with only the usual wear on the drivers side entry on the sill, which is surprisingly cheap to replace. The roof is absolutely perfect in condition, no rips or tears or sagging and doesn't leak. The seats are free from rips or stains and again doesn’t look like a 17 year old car. The tyres on the car are all matching Toyo T1R’s with near brand new tread and a full set of brake pads were fitted just 2000 miles ago before it went for an MOT.

The car has been dry stored pretty much all of its life, and is now undercover on trickle charger. The car wants for nothing and is a rare and collectable car with low mileage and in unmolested form.

The car is HPI clear, has both keys with fobs, the original Lotus bookpack, original bill of sale, roof allen key, locking wheel nut and everything like that.
